Hello again! I have another fun card to share with you!
I recently won a $20 gift card to Scrapbook.com. Let me tell you, I had SO much fun shopping, but it was hard to narrow down my choices! I settled for some fun goodies, and made an unboxing video of it...
As I was playing around with my new toys, I managed to pull this card together. I used the Prima Stamp on the background, and then embossed it in gold. I then took several red shades of Distress Ink and blended them onto the background.
After that, I took my large flower stencil from Heidi Swapp and scraped some black Dreamweaver's embossing paste over it. I just love the matte look this paste gives!
After the paste was dry, I took the whole piece that I worked on and adhered it to a black cardstock base. I also added a little scalloped edge to the bottom. I inked this scallop up with more distress inks as well, to help it match.
Since I really wanted the whole background to stand out, I left the sentiment simple. Just a small, embossed saying on vellum, stapled to the side.
I was so caught up in playing with my new craft goodies that I didn't turn on the camera to get a video process of this card. Sorry! Sometimes creativity just happens.
