This was a quick and easy little project. I took my boring old brown clipboard and painted it to give it a pretty little makeover. I used a sample paint color from Lowe's and my Tattered Angel's High Impact paint in black and added some fun stripes.
The butterflies are stamped and heat embossed with some gold embossing powder. I have never tried heat embossing on anything other than paper, so it was pretty cool that this actually worked! The only thing about embossing on this surface, though, is that it takes a little longer for it to heat up enough to melt the powder. Since I had to hold my heat tool in one spot longer it did make some of the paint bubble. Im ok with how it turned out though, because it sure beats what it looked like before!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
